10/2 Class Review

It was exiting to see our "小朋友（xiao-peng-you, little friends）" again today! We spent the first ten minutes of our class time to share our excitement: hugging, laughing, and chatting with each other. It was definitely contagious and lasted almost the whole hour. As the saying goes: "Nothing without joy." With that excitement, we were able to accomplish the following:

* reviewed more than seven Chinese nursery songs that we learned in Primaria last year.
* learned two new songs: 我的朋友在哪里（wo de peng-you zai na-li, where are my friends）and 头、肩膀、膝盖、脚趾（tou, jian-bang, xi-gai, jiao-zhi, head shoulder knees and toes）
* practiced Chinese Gong-fu as a movement exercise
* played "Beat The Teacher" game to practice the new vocabulary

However, I did forget to get all the students' emergency contact info from their parents today. I now have that form ready for you in our classroom. Please do remind me to give it to you and fill it out next Friday when you drop off your children. ;)  Have a happy weekend!
